He has also added new procedures to his treatment plan, and he is excited to see how those changes can benefit his patients. His favorite part of working at Southview Animal Hospital? Southview animal hospital. Working at Southview Animal Hospital gives him a lot of opportunities to apply his research to his clinical practice. He is excited to learn from and work with the other doctors at Southview Animal Hospital, especially the exotics specialists. Outside of work, Dr. Barahona enjoys spending time with her family and her cat, Woody. She also enjoys adventuring and trying new foods and spending time outdoors with her family.

Southview animal hospital. Having grown up in Minnesota, Sarah decided to pursue her veterinary career in the fall of 2016. She was inspired by her experiences volunteering at local shelters and animal shelters. After completing her studies, she plans to pursue a career in ultrasound. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and dogs. She is also excited to expand her knowledge in the field of veterinary medicine.

He enjoys building long-term relationships with his clients and incorporating fear-free techniques into his patient’s treatment. And, at the end of the day, he enjoys discussing end-of-life care for pets with her clients.

The hospital is staffed by 30 people, which means you’ll always get a timely appointment. A great doctor can teach students a lot about veterinary medicine, and he loves meeting the pets of his patients. So, what’s Dr. Barahona’s favorite part of working at Southview Animal Hospital?

Dr. LaMotte’s interests include soft tissue surgery

Southview animal hospital. Dr. LaMotte received her veterinary degree from Iowa State University in 2017. She completed her undergraduate studies at St. Catherine University and earned her bachelor’s degree in biology. While attending college, Dr. LaMotte worked as a veterinary assistant. She is the proud owner of two cats, a dog, and a cat-loving cat. Outside of the office, Dr. LaMotte enjoys sight-seeing in the Twin Cities, reading, and spending time with her family.

Southview animal hospital. A long-time resident of Edina, Dr. LaMotte has been practicing at Southview Animal Hospital since May 2010. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame and her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2007. She worked as a veterinary technician for three years before joining the Southview staff. She particularly enjoys surgery and has obtained a Fear-Free certification.

Southview animal hospital. After obtaining her DVM at Iowa State University, Dr. LaMotte’s interest in soft tissue surgery was further heightened when she pursued a residency in emergency medicine. Additionally, Dr. LaMotte’s training in emergency care has been helpful to her patients in need. She also enjoys soft tissue surgery, dentistry, ultrasonography, and emergency care. Away from work, Dr. LaMotte enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting events, volunteering for the local humane society, and working on her interior design skills.

Dr. Tabor’s interests include cardiology

Southview animal hospital. In May 2020, Dr. Tabor joined South view Animal Hospital. She earned her doctorate from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Tabor earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Minnesota. She enjoys both international and domestic wildlife medicine. While living in South Africa, Dr. Tabor worked for a big game reserve and also learned how o care for and rehabilitate wild waterfowl at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of MN.

Southview animal hospital. Dr. Tabor graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2020. She received her bachelor’s degree in biomedical science from Northern Arizona University. She currently lives in Saint Paul with her family and enjoys sight-seeing in the Twin Cities. When she’s not at work, Dr. Tabor enjoys spending time with her two cats, reading, and going to the park.

Southview animal hospital. Dr. Mahan has been a long-time resident of Edina and plans to move back to the area soon to enjoy her empty nest. Dr. Mahan joined Southview Animal Hospital in March 2013 and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame. She later completed her veterinary training at the University of Pennsylvania. After graduation, Dr. Mahan worked for a small animal practice outside of Chicago for five years. Since joining Southview Animal Hospital, Dr. Mahan has been working with Southview Animal Hospital and enjoying her new surroundings.

Southview animal hospital. Being a part of the team is the best part of Dr. Foster’s job! She enjoys meeting new clients, providing exceptional care, and seeing their happy faces every day! The best part of her job? She gets to help people save money! She’s also interested in surgery, ultrasonography, dentistry, and emergency care. Her favorite part of working at Southview is the ability to help animals and their owners stay healthy!

Southview animal hospital. Working in the veterinary field has its benefits. She enjoys the hands-on nature of the job and the interaction with her coworkers. She also likes traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She also has an affinity for Persian cats. And she can’t resist working late! But her job doesn’t stop there! Dr. Foster’s favorite part of working at Southview animal hospital? When she’s not working, Dr. Foster enjoys spending time with her family and reading, while taking a walk or exercising in her neighborhood. She also enjoys traveling to new places, reading, and spending time with her family and two cats. She has two cats and enjoys sight-seeing around the Twin Cities. She also likes reading and spending time with her husband and three children.

Working with caring clients and hard-working coworkers allows her to help her stay happy in her profession. Dr. Foster enjoys interacting with clients and wants to make everyone around her happy, so she can spend more time with her family. She has four children, three dogs, and a green wing macaw.
